Chapter 3: Batgirl???s Decision

((This is a short chapter, with no fighting it's just to build up for the next few chapters, planning on writting that one today also))

Weeks have passed since Barbara?s defeat at the hands of Harley Quinn where she was demasked in front of hundred of eyes, but by now everyone knew who she was, her life as a hero was in jeopardy and even if it was just being demasked she wouldn?t have been this bad off but Harley violated her stripped her of all her clothing. Pictures were already running rapid over the internet of her body and even offers to do pornos have come her way, this isn?t what she wanted, she just wished it could go back to the way it was.

Moments later an unexpected guest arrived, it was the co-owner of the club in which she lost to Quinn. Betsy moved forward and took a seat on the couch as she gave a soft sigh and looked back at Barbara. ?Barbara, I?m sorry for what happened to you but what are you going to do stay in your house forever?? Betsy asked, Barbara didn?t know how to respond she had just been wishing her life would end for the last few days anyway thoughts of her own suicide even came into her head, but she couldn?t do that.

?Betsy, I was a role model for a lot of young girls out there, and I loved that fact but what am I to do? I mean I was beaten by Harley easily she dominated me and embarrassed me. I?m a broken woman.? Barbara said not able to look the purple haired ninja in the eye when she spoke, Barbara soft of felt like she wasn?t worthy to look into a true heroines eyes.

But her thoughts were interrupted by a hug that was given to her by Betsy. ?Don?t be that way, look I talked to Lex and your always welcome to stay with us at the club .? Betsy said as she looked into the eyes of Barbara who was trying to hold back tears, this had been the first time that she had talked about the fight since it had happened, but for weeks it has just replied in her mind over and over again, not allowing her to get a moments rest it seemed.

?Thanks for the offer Betsy, but I can?t accept cause I know that if I am to find peace I must turn into the thing I hate the most, I will find Harley again and this time she will know what fear feels like.? Betsy was taken back by this comment, where had this come all of a sudden not a moment ago it seemed as if she was about to cry in Betsy?s arms now she was looking for revenge on the woman who defeated her.

Betsy still looked deep into Barbara?s eyes. ?Barb don?t do anything stupid, I don?t like the sound of that your Barbara Gordon, your not like those villains you spent your life fighting against that, remember that and don?t allow this to control you.? Betsy stated worried that her friend might get in over her head, but that?s something Barbara didn?t worry about she wasn?t sure what would happen in the future but she knew it couldn?t get any worse then what is going on right now.

Barbara then pushed Betsy back again. ?Don?t worry I was just over reacting I guess? Barbara said with a smile. ?Hey I am getting tired, I think I might hit the hay.? Barbara then moved to the door as she was trying to hint to Betsy to get out, which she did she headed to the door giving another sigh at Barbara thinking she had made it worse for her, she knew that something was wrong and that the smile that she was given was the fakest smile she had ever seen.

Barbara then closed the door, and moved into her room and grabbed and nte, that was given to her before Betsy arrived in the note it said. ?I know where Harley is, and if you wanna fight her again just come to the address on the back of this note, but be warned there are no rules or no one that will stop this fight. Also don?t tell the bitch that?s about to enter your house about this or she will suffer a horrible fate.? Betsy read it over twice more and sighed, she had given thought to this note and at first was going to reject it but she knew that if she did she would put others in danger something about this note made her feel that if she didn?t agree to the terms someone would be hurt or even killed. Then again this put a smile on her face cause she wanted this now a chance to kill the white faced bitch. ?Forgive me Betsy.? Barbara said in a whisper to herself as she put on a coat and started to head to the address, she wouldn?t take her batgirl uniform as what she planned to do was something that batgirl would never do. This was Barbara Gordon?s fight.
